Group (4+ dancers)
Any belly dance style or mix of styles welcome. Minimum 4 dancers per group. Creative staging encouraged. Open to all experience levels. Max song length 3min £20 per member or £10 per member with Dance Psass Initial Registration - Confirm final number of dancers later via email marijabellydance@gmail.com and pay the difference.

Music: Mejance, Classical Egyptian song, Lyrical song or Golden Era. Eligibility: Dancers with 1–2 years of belly dance experience; limited or no prior performance or competition history. Max time: 2.5 mins

High-energy drum solos featuring mostly tabla rhythms in the song. All Levels welcome.

Folklore - Open Level
Perform any traditional Middle Eastern folkloric dance style such as Saidi, Baladi, Shaabi, Khaleegy, Dabke, Melaya, Iraqi, or Turkish folk dances. Emphasizing authentic cultural movements, rhythms, and costumes.

Show/ Fusion - Open Level
Combine belly dance with other dance styles such as Latin, Commercial, Contemporary, or surprise the audience with creative staging and props like wings, fan veils, or anything visually striking. This is the festival’s most creative, open-minded category — a space for dancers to express their unique artistic vision while maintaining a belly dance foundation. Mahraganat and other modern Middle Eastern fusions are also welcome here.
